She began her musical studies at <strong>Academia de Amadores de M\u00fasica<\/strong>, having later joined the <strong>National Conservatory Music School<\/strong>, where she completed her Lyrical Singing Course with a high classification, in the class of Professor Jos\u00e9 Manuel Ara\u00fajo (2016).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Lu\u00edsa has attended Masterclasses with several national and international conductors and teachers, in order to expand her technical, musical and vocal knowledge, namely with Paulo Louren\u00e7o and Jill Lawson, Susan Waters, Sergei Leiferkus, Lucia Mazzaria, Vesselina Kasarova, Orlanda Velez Isidro, Jorge Bal\u00e7a and Kodo Yamagishi, Anna Samuil and Matthias Samuil, Neil Semer, Rafaela Albuquerque and Jo\u00e3o Ara\u00fajo. Privately, Lu\u00edsa Toledo has worked vocal technique and repertoire with soprano Sandra Medeiros between 2017 and 2024. Currently, she perfects her lyrical singing with Paula Morna D\u00f3ria. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size translation-block\">Recently, Lu\u00edsa Toledo was been awarded in the category Classical Voice \u2013 Professional several International Music Competitions: Maurice Ravel Competition Paris - Special Prize (Paris, 2024), International Mozart Competition Vienna - 4th Prize (Austria, 2023), London Classical Music Competition - 4th Prize (United Kingdom, 2023), Euterpe Music Awards - Honorable Mention (Germany, 2023), having also been a finalist in the XII North International Music Competition (Sweden,  2023).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Lu\u00edsa was a choralist at Lisboa Cantat Musical Association, between 2010 and 2017, conducted by maestro Jorge Alves. In 2015, she was invited by conductor Teresita Gutierrez Marques to join the Lisbon Chamber Choir, a renowned Chamber Music Ensemble in the Portuguese panorama with intense activity in Portugal and abroad, group to which she belonged up to 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">She has attended as <strong>soloist in concerts and festivals<\/strong> of choral symphonic music and chamber music, namely sang as second soprano <em>Choral Fantasy<\/em> de Beethoven (CCB), <em>The Seven Last Words of Christ<\/em> de Haydn (CCB), <em>O quam suavis<\/em> and <em>Alleluia<\/em> in F Major (Marcos Portugal), directed by Teresita Gutierrez Marques (National Library, Parish Church of the Holy Family of Pa\u00e7o de Arcos, Church of the Monastery of Santa Maria de Arouca), <em>Iste Confessor<\/em> by Domenico Scarlatti (Parish Church of the Holy Family of Pa\u00e7o de Arcos, Church of the Monastery of Santa Maria de Arouca), as well as oratorio arias concerts (Church of Nossa Senhora da Guia \u2013 Angra do Hero\u00edsmo Museum). She has collaborated with conductors Ces\u00e1rio Costa, Theodor Guschlbauer, Jorge Alves, Teresita Gutierrez Marques and organists Ant\u00f3nio Duarte, S\u00e9rgio Silva and Gustaaf van Manen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">In recital, Lu\u00edsa performed at the Noble Hall of National Conservatory, Italian Institute of Culture, Foyer of Domus Vida Residence, Santiago's Church of Palmela Castle (microFIAR'23 Festival), Elos Lisbon Club and at the National Press Mint House Library, in Lisbon.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">In opera projects, Lu\u00edsa was<strong> Dido <\/strong>in <em>Dido and Aeneas<\/em> (Purcell) and <strong>Amore <\/strong>in <em>Orfeo ed Euridice <\/em>(Gl\u00fcck).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">As a member of Lisboa Cantat Symphonic Choir and the Lisbon Chamber Choir, Lu\u00edsa recorded 6 CDs: <em>Fernando Lopes Gra\u00e7a \u2013 Obra Coral a cappella Volumes I and II<\/em>, Num\u00e9rica Records (2010; 2012), <em>Compositores Portugueses XX\/XXI \u00ad Volume 4<\/em>, Num\u00e9rica Records (2011), <em>Amizade entre Filipinas e Portugal<\/em> edited with the support of the Embassy of the Philippines in Lisbon (2016), <em>Dom Pedro De Cristo &#8211; Esplendor Musical do Mosteiro de Santa Cruz<\/em> (2018) and <em>Marcos Portugal &#8211; M\u00fasica Religiosa Publicada No S\u00e9culo XIX<\/em> (2019), both edited by the Lisbon Chamber Choir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Furthermore, Lu\u00edsa Toledo is a music therapist and develops her activity in clinical and school contexts with children with neurodevelopmental disorders and special educational needs, having a Master's degree in Music Therapy from Lus\u00edada University of Lisbon.
